Miss Mardell Hofmann of Milwaukee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hofmann of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Joseph Coker of Labor City, N.C., at Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester on Saturday, June 2, 1962.  The Rev. Fred Kollach of Medford performed the 7:30 o’clock ceremony.

The bride wore a floor length gown of silk organza over tulle and satin, with a Sabrina neckline, long sleeves, and a lace appliqued bouffant skirt.  Her silk illusion veil was attached to a crown of seed pearls, and she carried a bouquet of roses.

The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Mrs. Harvey Behringer of Stratford.  She wore a romance blue lace gown with jacket.  Her headpiece was white lace and she carried a colonial bouquet of pink and white carnations.

Attending the groom was Harvey Behringer of Stratford.

The bride’s mother wore a printed silk street length dress with black and white accessories.  Her corsage was white roses and pink carnations.

A wedding supper was served at the parish hall in Dorchester and a reception at the home of the bride’s parents.

Out of town guests came from Winfried, Ill., Merrill, Wittenberg, Stetsonville, Dorchester, Owen and Greenwood.

The newlyweds will make their home in West Allis, Wis.
