Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Northup, accompanied by her sisters, Mrs. Eva Grottke and daughter, Linda, and Mrs. Edna Ratsch, were weekend guests at the George Peternel home in North Chicago, where they attended a belated graduation party for the Peternel’s son Larry.  Enroute to North Chicago there were over night guests Friday at the Ronnie Northup home in Union Grove.

A birthday party was held Sunday at the Garald Hart home honoring their granddaughter, Bridget Burr, on her sixth birthday, and Mrs. Elton Imig, who observed her birthday this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Elton Imig entertained Monday evening in honor of her birthday and the birthday of Martha Biseck of Independence. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Everett Skroch, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Bauer, Mrs. Garald Hart; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Skroch, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Maule, Edward Maule and Martha Biseck, all of Independence.  Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. Everett Skroch and children visited at the Imig home.
