Kramer, Jane (23 May 1959)

Trinity Lutheran Church of Greenwood was the scene of the 2 p.m. wedding of Miss Jane Kramer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kramer of Loyal, to Wayne Winter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Winter, Ixonia, May 23.

Mrs. Herbert Severt, aunt of the bride, sang "O, Perfect Love" and "The Lord’s Prayer."  Miss Jeanne Wendt, was organist, and the Rev. H.F. Brauer officiated before an altar decorated with lilacs.

At the bride approached the alter with her father, she wore a chapel-length gown of Chantilly lace and tulle over net and taffeta.  The fitted bodice featured a Sabrina neckline etched in sequins and long, tapered sleeves.  The scalloped lace bordering the bouffant tulle skirt was over ruffled skirts of net and taffeta.  A coronation crown held the silk illusion veil, and she carried a white prayer book centered with a white orchid, yellow roses, and lily of the valley.

Miss Carolyn Kramer was her sister’s maid of honor and bridesmaids were Mrs. Thomas Elmer, Miss Karen Kaddotz of Watertown and Miss Delores Kramer.  They wore identical gowns of white embroidered nylon over tissue taffeta styled with fitted bodices, square necklines and cummerbunds of taffeta ending in a double panel in the back over the bouffant embroidered skirts.  Their circular veils were held by braided clips trimmed with pearls and they carried bouquets of yellow roses, white daisies and green ivy.

Richard Hanick of Oconomowoc was best man and other attendants were Thomas Elmer, Arthur Melcher of Ixonia and Martin Jaeger also of Ixonia.

David Melcher, Ixonia, and Charles Kramer Jr. of Loyal ushered.

David Winter of Cedarburg was ring bearer.

Following the ceremony a dinner was served in the church parlors and a reception held at Atwood Hall.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of Loyal High School.  Following a wedding trip to western South Dakota, the couple are residing in Milwaukee.
