Quite a few strangers have taken up their residence in Heathville. L. Curtiss and family now reside on the Heath place, and Ed Allen and family from near Loyal are living in the house lately vacated by Jay Brown.
Miss Anna Gardner, who has been working for Mrs. Wm. Smith, returned to her home Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Davis and son Elton spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Weymiller of Spokeville.
Otto Schmidtke had the misfortune to lose a purse containing nearly $100 recently.
Sherman Davis lost a yearling colt Sunday night. When they came home Sunday evening they found it sick so they sent for Dr. Abbott of Marshfield and he pronounced it concussion of the brains.
Al Snow of Chili was a caller on our streets Tuesday.
Charley Mundt has the cellar almost done for a new house which he intends to build this fall.
Kliner, Lang and Scharman’s men were out Saturday and installed a Weir furnace for G. Davis.
Sam Martin intends to move into the house that Harry Owens lived in.
Arthur Happe has the new schoolhouse nicely started and if the weather remains good, will soon have it completed.
Miss Edna Schultz of Nasonville is working for Mrs. Fields.
Joe Wilcott was a Heathville caller Sunday.
Gordon Davis was a Marshfield caller Wednesday.
