Mrs. R.C. Norman and Beatrice Brooks were Neillsville shoppers Saturday between trains.

 

Mrs. Fred Raine and daughter of Neillsville visited with the George Brooks and J. Altenburg families last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Reisner returned home from Sheboygan Saturday after a several weeks visit there among relatives.

 

Miss Adeline Faber left last week for Milwaukee where she has employment this winter.

 

Mrs. F. Bullard of Rib Lake visited Mrs. E. Montag and Mrs. R.C. Norman from Saturday until Monday.

 

Mrs. John Breseman and Lottie Krause were Marshfield shoppers last week Friday.

 

Miss Clara Arneson attended the teachers meeting at Neillsville Saturday.

 

Paul Whistbach of Milwaukee visited the Gustave Marg and Herman Krause fmailies this week.

 

C.W. Chubb, R.T. Washburn and Arthur Yankee spent several days last week and the fore part of this week hunting ducks at Gills landing.

 

Mrs. Timm, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. O.W. Becker, returned to Appleton last week.

 

Arthur Garbush has moved on the farm near Chili that he purchased some time ago, and Mrs. Guard of Cobb has taken possession of the Garbush farm.

 

Max Opelt shipped two carloads of potatoes this week.

 

Mrs. Ed Haertl of Lindsey visited friends in this place between trains Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Beecher of Granton visited their son Well Sunday.

 

Henry Sternitzky and family and Mrs. C. Montag went to Chili to attend the dedication of the new Lutheran Church there on Sunday.

 

August Arndt of Montana arrived last week and will visit his family some time before returning.

 

Miss Louvilla Sternitzky returned from her visit at Mosinee.

 

Mrs. Kat Hales is having a new furnace installed in her house.

 

Dance at Lynn bowery Saturday evening.  Music will be by the Steckert Orchestra.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Helm of Forest Junction arrived here Saturday for a visit with the former’s parents.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. R. Brooks of this place have issued invitations for the wedding of their daughter Beatrice to William Johnson of Packwaukee, Wis., Nov. 5h.

 

Editor and Mrs. F.J. Baer autoed over and called at the Lucas hale and Willie Sternitzky homes Tuesday afternoon.
