Free, Agnes (30 DEC 1884 - 4 MAR 1963)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Richard Percy Free of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) will be held at 2:00 o’clock this afternoon from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home.  Rev. Beryl Knudsen of the Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee, will officiate.  Burial will be made in the family lot in the cemetery at Neillsville.

 

Pallbearers are George Sorenson, Harold Christensen, Art Stewart, Harry Thorson, H. Munson and Walter Blunck.  Carrying the floral offerings will be Christine Blunck, Veryl Auberg and JoAnn Sorenson.

 

Mrs. Free, nee Agnes Tracey, was born Dec. 30, 1884, at Neillsville, Wis.  On July 23, 1907 she married the late Percy Free who passed away in 1950.  The couple moved to Withee in 1912, which has been her home for the past 51 years.

 

Mrs. Free was 78 years, 2 months and 4 days of age when she passed away Monday forenoon at 10:30 a.m. at the Havenet Nursing Home where she had been a resident since the 21st of January.  Her health began to fail late last year and for 10 days prior to entering the Havenet she was a medical patient at Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley.

 

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Marie DuSchene, Auburn, Calif.; a son, William of Milwaukee; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hanson of Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs. Cecil (Leda) Tormey, Withee, and five grandchildren.
