Lang, Lewis/Louis (25 Apr 1882 - ?)

Louis was one of eight children born to Henry and Mary (Shidleman) Lang.  The family immigrated to the United States from Germany in 1871, settling on a farm near La Crosse, Wis., where they remained about twenty-five years.

Louis married Josie Kelsh, daughter of Anna Klemish (daughter of Joseph & Barbara) and Nicholas Kelsh about 1906.

Henry and Mary lived with their daughter, Mary (Lang) Billerbeck in Altoona, Wis. after retiring from farming.  After Henry died on Christmas Day, 1924, she made her home with Louis and Josie's for several years before passing away, 7 Oct 1927 at the age of 84 years, 2 months and 10 days.

When Josie mother died 14 Feb 1933, she and Louis and their family were living in West Salem, Wis.
