Fred Houpt had company Sunday.


A.J. Spry had visitors Sunday.


Warren Newell has his new auto home now.


W.J. Spry and family were visitors at Curtis’ last Sunday.


Flay Curtis was the pleased victim of a surprise party last Saturday evening.


A.J. Spry received three new Black Monorca cockerels Saturday.


Geo. Norris made a business trip to Neillsville Monday.


Emery Albough, Willard Beaty, Flay Curtis and Ralph Spry were callers at Warn Newell’s Sunday.


Gustave Reich went to Neillsville one day last week.


W.J. McClaflin and Frank Downer have bought new gasoline engines to help in farm work.


Mrs. Frank Downer and Mrs. W.J. McClaflin and daughters Vivian and Lucille visited Mrs. A. Montgomery Sunday.


The school ma’am being fairly tall was able to wade most of the mud puddles between here and Granton Friday night.


Flay Curtis is working for Howard Beaty while the latter is away hunting.


Mrs. Dubes was very busy working on the new road.  Let the good work go on.


Howard Beaty and Robert Scheel made a Sunday call on L.J. Stevens.


Sanford Beaty of Richland County came up to go hunting with his brother Howard Beaty.


Messrs. Geo. Beaty, Sanford Beaty, Howard Beaty, Delbert Latamore and Roscoe Meilen started hunting on Monday night.


Mrs. Patno and grandson Myron visited at A.J. Spry’s and Geo. Ives’ Friday and Saturday.  They returned to Loyal Saturday evening.


The pupils of the Romadka School are busily engaged in preparing a play for a Thanksgiving entertainment.  They intend to present the dramatization of "The Courtship of Myles Stanish."


Things have been on the move here this week.  Mrs. Johnson has moved into her new residence.  Chas. Hayden is moving into her old house and Loyal Jordan is moving into the house vacated by Mr. Hayden.  Fred Frank has moved onto the Frank Downer place and Elmer Rose is residing in the house left vacated by Mr. Frank.
