Wm. Wallace of Augusta died at the Marshfield hospital last Friday where he had gone for an operation, but which was not made.  Mr. Wallace had been suffering from bowel trouble for some time and his death came from this cause.  He was 60 years of age and is survived by his wife and the following children: William, Avery, Mrs. C.C. Carpenter, Mrs. George Steigelman, Mrs. Otto Stebbs and Miss Pearl Wallace.  Deceased lived here for about eight years on a farm and removed to Augusta about ten years ago and bought a farm.  He was a genial gentleman and during his residence here made many sincere friends.  The funeral was held Monday at Augusta.
