Mrs. Gene Crandall spent Wednesday at Eau Claire.

 

The Equity will ship cattle, calves and hogs from Chili and Granton next Friday and Saturday, Dec. 19 and 20.

 

Mrs. Martha Poole of the town of Washburn, who suffered a stroke of paralysis early last week, died Saturday morning.  The funeral was held on Monday with interment in the town of Levis.  Her son and Nephew Will Poff of Neillsville, with a number of out ot town relatives, were with her in her last hours.

 

This week’s paper consists of 10 pages, it is therefore not complete without the supplement.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schoengarth and Mr. and Mrs. F.D. Riedel have been entertaining a bunch of relatives from Plymouth for the past 2 days.

 

Mrs. Laura Mason was the pleased victim of the Windfall Corners Birthday Club, supplemented by a goodly corps of Grantonites, Wednesday, when they gave her a first class surprise party.

 

Burgderfer was the attraction at the opera house last Saturday night and despite the weather and bad roads he had a large and needles to say enthusiastic audience.  He strokes the correct gait for Granton and pleases all.

 

Dan Rausch, Edward Schroeder, G.E. Amidon, E.R. Wonser, W.S. Davis and Sid Davis from here, with Aug.  Dankemyer of Chili, went to Neillsville Wednesday evening that they might see Arthur Stallman ride the F. & A.M. goat.
