Berlowski, Kay (19 APR 1958)

Kay Caatherine Berlowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Berlowski, Hartford and John J. Walter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Walter, Loyal, were married Saturday morning, April 19, in St. Killian’s Church, Hartford, Wis. Rev. Gerard Budde officiated at 10 o’clock nuptial.

Given in marriage by her father the bride was gowned in white imported tulle with Venice lace appliqué. The fitted bodice had a scoop neckline and short shirred sleeves complimented with mitts. The bouffant skirt was floor length. A clip hat of pleated tulle flowers with pearl trim secured her fingertip veil of scroll edged English illusion. Her bouquet was of orchids and lilies of the Valley with small pearl hearts.

Mrs. Jerome Kenealy attended as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Ray Scharpf, Mrs. Wallace Rusniak and Miss Gail Brose. Their gowns were of white orchid taffeta with lace bodices featuring square necklines and built-up shoulders. The billowing floor length skirts of orchid tulle were worn over bouffant skirts of white ruffles. They wore matching picture hats of horsehair braid with velvet bow rim and carnations on a orchid star background.

Ray Scharpf attended as best man. The groomsmen were Messrs. Jerome Kinealy, Wallace Rusniak and Art Henchen.

About 85 guests were entertained at a wedding dinner.

Following a week’s wedding trip to the south, the newlyweds now live at 813 Union St., Hartford. The bridegroom is a factory worker at Stolper Steel, Menominee Falls and the bride is employed at the Natural Casing Company, Hartford.
