Duty compels us to report the necessary items of late on this part of the map, hoping it will not have any effect on the present weather conditions.

The most important at present is the fall term of court where the Hon. Wm. Albrecht has been spending the last few weeks as jury man.  After taking several regulators on the corner in Chili Monday morning, he returned to his seat at Neillsville.  He reports seeing the Judge within the 2 mile limit at any time during the day.  He was released in the evening however, and being unable to navigate further, called up Harry Eide to come after him and brother Jim with his auto.  Now for some reason or other it seemed to Bill that everything that went through his elementary canal got into his head, being unable to distinguish small objects on the way home, he arrived in time to avoid total destruction however and claims he could have been forced to shift for himself had he remained one day longer.

Ship you cattle and hogs with the Equity Saturday morning.

Geo. Brooks claims he husked 133 bushels of corn from an acre.  In our opinion he is handling the truth carelessly.

Fred Dopp is kept busy buying shoes for his boy.

August Kempin had several of his sheep badly torn up by two dogs.

Christmas program is Wednesday evening at the Lindow Church.
