Spc. Tyler Olson of the 397th Engineer Battalion out of Eau Claire completed in the 372nd Engineer Brigade Best Warrior Competition (BWC) held February 14-16, for the title of Soldier of the Year in the Brigade.
The BWC tests soldiers in numerous areas including physical fitness, land navigation, marksmanship and general Army knowledge. Winners of this prestigious contest will move on to the Regional BWC. Their ultimate goal is to compete in and win the Department of the Army BWC.
A total of 10 soldiers competed in this year’s Brigade BWC, with only one earning the title of Best Soldier.
The event will be held at Marseilles Training Center, IL.
