Schiro, Leah Kathryn (Marriage - 28 August 1965)

 

The Rev, R, James Hagen officiated at a double ring ceremony Saturday in the Spencer Methodist Church which united in marriage Miss Leah Kathryn Schiro, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Schiro of Spencer, and Jerome Dean Hutchins, son of Mr. and Mrs. Delbert O. Hutchins of Rt. 1 Spencer. The altar of the church was graced with bouquets of cut garden flowers.

 

The bride entered the church with her father. She wore the traditional white wedding dress, and carried a cascade bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums centered with yellow roses and surrounded by yellow net.

 

Miss Karen Schiro of Wausau was maid of honor, and Miss Lila Kiviko of Wisconsin Rapids was bridesmaid.

 

The groom’s attendants were Don Narum of Marshfield as bestman, Kevron Schiro, as groomsman and Kerry Schiro and Bruce Schweiso, as ushers.

 

"The Lord’s Prayer" and "O Perfect Love" were sung by Ken Goldsmith, accompanied by Mrs. Darrel Roder.

 

Mrs. Hutchins is a 1965 graduate of Spencer High School.  Mr. Hutchins, a 1962 graduate of the same school, will be a senior this year at Wisconsin State University-Stevens Point.

 

Friends and relatives attending the wedding were from Abbotsford, Caledonia, Colby, Cuba City, Greenwood, Loyal, Marshfield, Milwaukee, New Richmond, Racine, Spencer, Unity, Wausau, Wisconsin Rapids; Winthrop Harbor, Ill., and Kalamazoo, Mich.
