Mlynik, Karen Ann (NOV 1963)

At the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rice Lake wedding rites united Miss Karen Ann Mlynik and Gerald M. Orth at 11:00 o’clock in the morning nuptials.  The Rev. Ervin Swanson performed the double ring ceremony.  The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Mlynik of Rice Lake, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Myron Orth of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride chose for her wedding a winter white suit of brocaded acetate, and carried a corsage of white chrysanthemums and pink tea roses.

Attending the bride as her matron of honor was Mrs. Karen Olson of Owen, who was gowned in a royal blue street length dress of brocaded acetate.  She carried a corsage of white chrysanthemums and pink tea roses.

Delmond Olson of Owen attended the groom as best man.

A reception and supper were held at the VFW Hall in Rice Lake, at which 175 guests were in attendance.

The bride is a graduate of Rice Lake High School and is presently employed as a telephone operator.

The groom graduated in 1955 from the Owen Senior High School.  He is employed as a dairy worker at Owen.
