School began in District No. 2 and 3 after a 2 week vacation on Monday.

 

There was a party at H. Schwanebeck’s Sunday evening.  All had a fine time.

 

School District No. 1 has begun again after a 4 week vacation.

 

Albert Gall lost one of his horses last week.

 

Mrs. Chas. Gall, Mr. John Clark and family were Granton callers Monday.

 

Dan Hill is at Tripoli on business.

 

John Clark’s family spent Sunday evening at the D. Hill home.

 

All of the sick people on our street are all better at this writing.

 

Mrs. R.C. Schreiber is at Eau Claire hospital for an operation.  We hear she is doing fine.

 

H. Hill helped the Anders boys saw wood Tuesday.

 

Mrs. H. Hill spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. John Vegeli.

 

There was German church in our hall Sunday afternoon.  A nice crowd was in attendance.

 

They are moving the schoolhouse on Hay Creek about one mile south of where it was on the same street.
