Abie Turner helped Wm Turner butcher, Friday.

 

Miss Viola Alton was the guest of her sister Mrs. D. Timerson from Thursday until Sunday.

 

Quite a few of the young folks from this vicinity attended the Thanksgiving dance at Loyal.

 

Dan Timerson delivered a hog to Neillsville Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Merle Benedict made a trip to Neillsville, Friday.

 

Violet Fulwiler gave her girl friends a Thanksgiving birthday party. Those who attended were Dorothy Curtiss, Lulu Benedict, Ruth Vande Berg, Irma and Isla Rowe, Gladys Parrett and Florence Greeler.  Each little girl was presented with a wish bone tied with ribbon in remembrance of the party.

 

R. E. Lawrence and Harmon Huntley and families spent Thanksgiving with Geo. Huntley and family near Granton.

 

Every body is invited to attend services at the M. E. Church Sunday.  The new presiding elder will deliver the sermon. We failed to learn his name.

 

Abram Vandeberg made a trip to Neillsville one day last week and came home with a fine new organ.

 

Everybody seemed to be taking advantage of the nice weather Tuesday as a large number of the folks in this vicinity made a trip to the county seat.

 

The Thanksgiving play at the school house in District No. 3 was a success in every way. There was a large crowd out and all enjoyed it.

 

Sadie Adams and Velma Snyder visited school in District No. 2 Tuesday.

 

Wm. Vande Berg butchered a beef Thursday.

 

Orin Lawrence and Ted O’Brien hauled Bert Lawrence’s household goods to Neillsville Tuesday.

 

Bert Lawrence and family have vacated Dr. Ross’ farm and shipped their household goods back to Hannibal, Wis., where they will make future home, Burt and son, Irvin left Wednesday morning to get things in readiness for Mrs. Lawrence and children who will follow later.

 

John Vande Berg made a trip to Spencer Saturday.

 

Mrs. Louis Christenson who has been a visitor in this city the past four weeks left for Withee Sunday.  Mr. Christenson is now located in central Arkansas in the employ of W. W. Hollipeter, a former manufacturer of this city, to which place Mrs. Christenson expects soon to go. - Marshfield Herald
