The big snowstorm on Monday followed by another one and a blow on Wednesday made the roads almost impassable again, in some place.

Mrs. Ida Pease spent last Thursday with Mrs. John Vandeberg.

Mrs. Jennie Fulwiler assisted Mrs. Grace Rowe with tying a comforter last Thursday.

Ed and Percy Northup started after some hay last Wednesday morning, but when the storm broke, they returned home again, rather than be caught in a blizzard.

Last Friday night Arthur Diercks was very pleasantly surprised at his home by his former schoolmates of District No. 2.  The crowds came with refreshments and the necessary ingredients for making candy, and, believe me, they had a sweet time.

James Flynn of Heintown was a business caller in this neighborhood one day last week.

Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Vandeberg are making preparations to move onto the M.W. Lawrence farm north of Marshfield about March 1^st.  Their lease of the Timerson farm expires at that time.

Some nice bright lights can now be observed in the Ed Begley R. and Ed Begley Jr. homes by gas lights which they have had installed recently.

John Howard of Neillsville was a business caller here last Friday.

Miss Goldie Anderson visited her parents at Owen last Saturday.

Dan Timerson is moving back on his farm again.  One of his horses got down near the Frank Vaskow farm last Sunday morning and it received injuries from which it died shortly after.

Gladys Parrett and Violet Fulwiler spent Tuesday afternoon with Ruth Vandeberg.

George Begley has rented Ben Harper’s farm.  Mr. Harper has charge of a hotel in Neillsville.

Will O’Brien is hauling logs to the Granton sawmill.

Melvin Lawrence brought over a load of goods from Marshfield last Saturday for Dan Timerson.

Alvin Lawrence is moving over to Marshfield this week.

Forest Rowe, wife and daughter Marie spent last Friday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Fulwiler.

Last week the folks had for their chief occupation the job of taking the children to and from school on account of the road being drifted full nearly every day.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bardell of Heintown spent Monday with Mrs. Bardell’s mother, Mrs. M. Parrett.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Northup took in Neillsville sights last Monday.

Mrs. Martin O’Brien spent the past week with her daughter, Mrs. Fanny Krejci.

A.P. Fulwiler, wife and daughter Violet spent last Sunday afternoon with the Wm. Rowe family.
