Mis Karen Olson, the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Korth of Neillsville, and Larry Sternitzky, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sternitzky of Granton, were united in marriage by the Rev. David Archie in a double ring ceremony June 24, at Atonement Lutheran Church in Beloit. Mr. Korth gave his granddaughter in marriage.

Mrs. Steven Kalfsbeck of Beloit, and the groom’s sister, Mrs. Glen Galloway of Dover, Del., were co-matrons. Miss Marsha Fitzgerald and Miss Cheda Jones of Beloit were bridesmaids.

James Mesar of Eau Claire attended the groom as bestman. Groomsmen were Howard Olson of Beloit and James Mattern of Merewether, Mich. Dennis Olson of Beloit, Michael Jones of Glenview, Ill., and Ray Barth of Whitewater, ushered.

Merle Timmcke sang, “Oh Perfect Love,” accompanied by Henry De Bruyne at the organ.

A reception was held in the church parlors immediately following the ceremony, with Mrs. James Mesar of Eau Claire cutting and serving the wedding cake. A 5 o’clock wedding luncheon was given by the groom’s aunt, Mrs. Ray Jones, at her home in Beloit, where the rehearsal supper also was held, hosted by the groom’s parents.

The young couple will make their home in Eau Claire, where the groom plans to attend school this fall. He is a graduate of the Granton High School and has served four years in the Air Force. His bride is a graduate of Beloit Memorial High School and the Madison academy of Beauty Culture. She has been employed for the last two years in Beloit.
