Mr. C. Henninger was surprised when a number of neighbors and friends dropped in on him Saturday night and helped him celebrate his birthday. The evening was spent by playing cards and dancing, and at midnight ice cream and lunch were served and they departed for their home, wishing him many more happy birthdays.

The oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Brown is very sick with typhoid fever and pleurisy.

Ora Davis and Elsie Johnson were callers at Fred Dankemyer’s Friday.

Mrs. Andrew Ley, Charles and August Ley and Mrs. Geo. Ley autoed to Neillsville on Wednesday.

Grandma Hankey and Hannah Dankemyer visited at Ernest Hankey’s Sunday.

Joe Boushon, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Wilskie and daughter Gladys, autoed from Doylestown on visit to the former’s parents and their old neighbor Wm. Yonkie. They only stayed two days but during that time were given a surprise party one night when with visiting, music, dancing and the best of eats, such an evening was spent as will long remain a most pleasuant memory to all participants.

Mr. and Mrs. Wellie Davis visited at Jay Brown’s Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Christensen were callers at Sherman Davis’ Sunday and took them for a joy ride.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Ley are enjoying a visit with relatives from Park Falls since Sunday.

Albert Christenson is drilling a well for Wellie davis this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Ley took in the fair at Marshfield Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer visited at Albert Christenson’s Tuesday evening.

Mrs. Amelia Krause and family visited her daughter Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer on Sunday.

Lydia Bodendorfer visited Jennie Eibergen one day last week.
