Hubble, Josephine Amelia (16 February 1880 -15 July 1967)

Mrs. Josephine Amelia Hubble, 87, of Neillsville and formerly of Greenwood, died Saturday, in Neillsville, after admittance to the hospital Friday. Death was due to complications. Funeral services wee held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiated.

Mrs. Hubble was born February 16, 1880 in the Town of Warner, to Simon and Mary (Peterson) Johnson. She was married June 28, 1916, to Walter Hubble at the home of her parents. They farmed south of Greenwood until 1919, when they moved into Greenwood. Mrs. Hubble resided in Greenwood until November, 1963, when she entered Memorial Home in Neillsville.

She was a member of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church and the American Lutheran Church women.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Sigward (Olga) Johnson of Loyal; a brother, Leonard Johnson of
