The bride is the former Joan Alene Schroeder of Eau Claire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Schroeder, route 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). Theron Schwieso is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schwieso, Loyal.

Officiating at the 10 a.m. Nuptial High Mass was Rev. Norbert E. King. The church choir sang.

For her wedding day the bride chose a white full length gown of Chantilly lace bodice styled with a scalloped neckline and trimmed with sequins and pearls. The skirt was styled with net over taffeta with a court train of lace applique and her illusion veil was caught to a pearl crown. She carried a prayer book with an orchid, stephanotis and ivy.

Mrs. Duane Schwieso came from Jacksonville. Ark. To be matron of honor. She is a sister-in-law of the bride. Mrs. Duane Schroeder of Waverly, Iowa was bridesmaid. They wore street length frocks of pink chiffon with a deep rose cummerbund and crown. They carried an assortment of spring flowers in baskets.

The groom chose his brother, Duane Schwieso of Jacksonville to be his best man, and the bride’s brother, Duane Schroeder of Waverly as groomsman. Ushers were Bill Cole, a cousin of the groom, of Loyal, and Jim Schwieso, a brother of the groom, of Loyal.

A breakfast for the bridal party followed the ceremony at the Star Lodge Motel. A reception and supper were held at Jane’s Lanes in Marshfield, and a dance was given at the Eagles Hall in Marshfield.

The new Mrs. Schwieso is a graduate of Loyal High School and is now a senior at Luther School of Nursing at Eau Claire. She will complete the final year of school.
