The bride, who was presented in marriage by her father, chose a floor length gown of peau de soie with a bateau neckline highlighted by seed pearls, long tapered sleeves and a fitted bodice. Her full bouffant skirt with a stunning pouf at the back was caught up at the waist with a peau de soie rose. Her headpiece was an imported spary of pearls featuring a hand rolled bouffant veil and she carried a cascade arrangement of pink roses.

The brides, sister, Debra Liebzeit, acted as the miniature bride and was dressed in a gown duplicating that of the bride. She also carried pink roses.

Bridal aides included Diane Liebzeit, the bride's sister of Greenwood, as maid of honor; Mrs. Roy Cook of Marshfield, a sister-in-law of the groom, Sandra Liebzeit, the bride's sister of Greenwood, and her cousin, Dorene Irvine of Milwaukee, as bridesmaids.

The ladies were dressed in identical god street length sheath gowns of social taffeta, featuring a rose petal detachable overskirt with short sleeves and portrait necklines. Each carried a basket of assorted mums.

Attending the groom were his brother, Dennis Cook of Loyal as best man; Roy Cook of Marshfield; the bride's brother, Eldon Liebzeit of River Falls; and another brother, Bruce Liebzeit of Greenwood, as groomsmen. Ushers were Delmain Toburen of Greenwood and Dick Schlinsog of Marshfield.

A reception was given at the home of the bride's parents following the ceremony, with dinner served later at the church dining hall. A dance was held in their honor that evening at the Silver Dome Ballroom near Neillsville.
