CHARLES A. BROWN-- (1857-1905)
Chas. Brown, long a resident of Clark county
passed away at his home in Withee, Monday morning at 2 o'clock.
The cause of death was pneumonia contracted two weeks ago which
caused him to take to his bed. He had been in poor health for some
time but his sudden demise was a shock to his relatives and
friends.
The deceased was 48 years of age and was at one time in the general
merchandise business at Withee but had to discontinue it because of
failing health.
The funeral was held today at Withee under the auspices of the
Woodmen. Interment was made in the Greenwood cemetery.
