LOUISE K. HOGUE


Louise K. Hogue, 90, Stoughton, formerly of Greenwood, Clark County, died Dec. 12, 1993 at the Skaalen Sunset Home, Stoughton.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, 1993 at the Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood. Rev. Jenny Schroeder will officiate. Burial will be in the Greenwood City Cemetery.


Louise K. Kaiser was born Jan. 7, 1903 in Bay City, Michigan. She was a graduate of Washington High School, Milwaukee, and Superior Normal School. After graduating from school she taught in Greenwood and then move to Brodhead where she also taught.


On Feb. 3, 1923 she was married to Bernard Hogue in Waukegan, Ill. They moved to Cudahy where she was a housewife for 43 years. After her husband's retirement in 1965 they moved to California. She moved back to Cambridge in 1990 and then entered the nursing home in 1991.
She was an active member of the Cudahy Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and a member of the Eastern Star. She was an active Girl Scout leader and also trained women to be Girl Scout Leaders.


She is survived by three daughters Kathleen Smith, Lewisburg, West Va. Carol Hogue Bradley, Alameda, Calif. and Sharon Smith, Palm Harbor, Fla. six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her husband, who died July 22, 1975 and by her parents Adam F. and Rose (Algeo) Kaiser.
