OBITUARY OF WILLIAM HUNTZICKER
 

William Huntzicker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Huntzicker, was born at the home farm south of Greenwood, Clark County, Nov. 8,1871 and died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield of heart trouble Sept. 19, 1940, at the age of 68 years, 10 months and 11 days.
His boyhood and manhood were mostly spent at the farm home and Greenwood, Wis. He attended school at what is now Eaton District, later going to Ripon College.


Those who were acquainted with Mr. Huntzicker admire and respected him for his cheerfulness, fairness, and loyalty, following in the footsteps of his highly respected and God fearing family.


He united with the Presbyterian Church at Neillsville, Wis. in 1928, later by letter with the First Presbyterian Church in Colorado Springs, Col., where his winters were spent for 14 years.


Funeral Services were held on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 22nd at the home, Rev. Alex J. Abbott officiating. Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


He leaves to mourn his loss a devoted sister, a brother, several nephews and nieces, and a host of friends.


Pallbearers were Albert Schwarze, Adolph Schwarze, Hugo Lenz, E. N. Paul of Greenwood Free Christie of Neillsville and E. Cox of Owen.


Those in charge of flowers were Mrs. J. S. Andrews, Miss Rue Cummings, Mrs. Bertha Volk and Mrs. Caroline Volk.


The relatives from out of town who came to pay their last tribute to the memory of William Huntzicker were Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Huntzicker, Ivanhoe Mr. and Mrs. Neil A. Huntzicker, Granite Falls, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. George A. Huntzicker, Marshfield Mr. and Mrs. Wm. L. Smith Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Herbert M. Smith, Neillsville Mr. and Mrs. Albert Karow, Miss Sylvia Karow, Miss Alvera Watenphul, Mrs. G. Rahl, Augusta, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Reeves, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Harry, Colby.
