FRED ABEL BURIED SUNDAY.


As announced last week, the funeral of Fredrick C. E. Abel occurred at one o'clock Sunday afternoon from the Reformed Immanuel church, conducted by Rev. J. Schmalz. A large company of friends and relatives were present to pay deceased their last respects. The crew from the camp in which he was working when killed were present in a body and marched ahead of the hearse to the cemetery.


The pall bearers were George Buker, Albert Chistensen, Edwin Decker, Willie Miller, Albert Miller and Fred Whitbrock.


Deceased was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Abel and was born on the home farm October 2, 1878. Besides the parents four brothers and a sister are left to mourn his untimely death. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the family in their loss.
