JOSEPH SUSA SR. PASSES AWAY


Joseph Susa, Sr.
died early Tuesday morning, July 19, 1932, the cause of his death being heart failure.


Deceased was born in Schlossen, Germany, Sept. 26, 1857. He came to America in 1883, locating in Buffalo County, Wis., where he worked on farms. On May 4, 1886, he was married to Susanna Weisenberger. The marriage took place in Indiana and they settled in Buffalo Co., where they resided until 1895, when they moved onto their farm in the town of Eaton, Clark County.


About eight years ago Mr. and Mrs. Susa rented their farm and purchased a home in Greenwood, where they have since resided.


Mr. Susa was a hard working man and was a kind husband and father and was well liked by all who knew him.


He is survived by his wife, four sons and two daughters, namely Joseph, Albert, John and Paul, all residing in the town of Eaton, Hattie, Mrs. Ben Bodwin of Neillsville and Sophie, Mrs. R. C. Pieper residing in the town of Beaver. He also leaves many other relatives and a host of friends.


Funeral services will be held from St. Mary's Catholic Church this morning at 10:00 o'clock, Rev. Schuh wil officiate and the body will be laid to rest in the local Catholic Cemetery.
