PETER NAST


Peter Nast, 20, of Route 1, Willard, Clark County, died instantly in a one-car accident at 11:40 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 31, 1977, when the car he was driving ran off the east side of the road and struck two chopper boxes on Highway 73, 2 mile north of Greenwood.


Funeral services for Peter Nast were conducted at the Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3. Rev. Andrew Kist, a Greek Orthodox minister from Minneapolis performed the ceremony, assisted by Rev. David Logue. Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery.


Peter Nast was born to George and Irene Nast in Chicago on April 1, 1957 and received his education at Greenwood Public Schools, graduating in 1976.


He was employed in Chicago at the time of his death as a metal worker at New Metal Craft, Inc.


Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Nast, Route 1, Willard one sister, Natalie of Neillsville his paternal grandfather, John Nast of Neillsville and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Krysiuk of Willard.


Randy Hauge, George Miedziak, Paul Miedziak, Gary Humboldt, Bob Clark and George Hare served as pallbearers.


Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.
