A. HANNA, 91, DIES FRIDAY


Greenwood--Arthur Hanna, 91, Greenwood, Clark County, died at his home yesterday at 5 p.m. of old age complications.


Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. in the Stabnow Funeral Home. The Rev. Lee Holmes, of Grace Methodist Church, will officiate.


The body will lie in state at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Sunday until the time of the services. Burial will be made in the Augusta Cemetery.


Mr. Hanna was born July 13, 1858 in Lodi. When he was 3 years old he moved with his parents to Augusta, where he received his education. He worked there for several years as an employee of the city, and he also ran his own livery business.


In 1912 he moved to Greenwood, where he was employed by the city at the power plant. He later served as caretaker at the Greenwood Cemetery. He retired several years ago.


Surviving Mr. Hanna are two nephews, Ira Leath, Neillsville, and Ervin Leath, Greenwood. One sister, Mrs. Edith Leath, Greenwood, preceded him in death.
