RITES SET FOR MRS. GATES, 87
GREENWOOD WOMAN TO BE BURIED MONDAY

Greenwood Services for Mrs. Margaret Gates, 87, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church. She died at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 10, 1950 at the home of a nephew, Fred Murphy, who lives 6 miles south of here (Greenwood, Clark County).

Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery, the Rev. B. M. Fresenborg officiating. The body will lie in state at the Schiller Funeral Home until noon Sunday when it will be taken to the Murphy home. Monday morning it will be taken to the church to lie in state until time of the services.

Mrs. Gates, nee Margaret Redmond, was born at Bangor, Maine June 16, 1862. Her husband, Sylvania Gates, died April 2, 1935.

Surviving are a son, Harley, Cottage Grove, Ore. and a brother, Jim Redmond, Neillsville.
