HOLD SERVICES FOR LOUIS SANDERS, 84
FORMER RESIDENT OF GREENWOOD DIES MARCH 30 AT STURTEVANT


Greenwood Funeral services for Louis Sanders, 84, former Greenwood, Clark County resident, who died at Sturtevant Monday, March 30, 1942, were held at the Schiller Funeral Home Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. Alex J. Abbott of Grace Methodist Church officiating. Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery beside his wife who died several years ago.


During the services Mrs. Chal Perkins and Mrs. George Haeuser sang Jesus, Lover of My Soul, Good Night and Good Morning, and Saved by Grace,: with Mrs. John Meng as accompanist. Pallbearers were Charles Bostwick, Fred Clintsman, Jack Susa, George Gemmeke, Glen Drew, and Roger Dillenbeck.


Louis Sanders was born in Germany May 28, 1857, and was married to Agnes Hahn in 1893. He lived for five years in the Janesville Settlement, southwest of Greenwood, then moved to Monroe Center, Illinois, and later to Sturtevant, near Racine.


Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Max (Frieda) Wright, Sturtevant a stepdaughter, Mrs. Roy McCrimmon, Gary, Ind. and five grandchildren.
