LOUIS W. BROWN, 50, DIES AT GREENWOOD
SERVICES FOR WORLD WAR I VETERAN ARE SCHEDULED FOR SUNDAY


Greenwood--Louis W. Brown, 50, Greenwood, Clark County barber, died suddenly of a heart attack Thursday afternoon, Mar. 27, 1946 at 3 o'clock at his home in Greenwood.


Louis William Brown, son of William and Inez (Walworth) Brown, was born at Fremont Dec. 9, 1895, and came to Greenwood in 1914. He had been a barber since that time.


Mr. Brown was married to Hazel Murphy of Greenwood Jan. 8, 1920 at Greenwood. He served in World War I and was a member of the Wallis-Hinker Post No. 238 of the American Legion, and also was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.


Surviving are his wife and a son, Laverne, at home his father, William Brown, Chippewa Falls, and a brother, Lloyd of Gordon.


Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Zion Reformed Church. Interment will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. The local American Legion Post and its Auxiliary will attend the military funeral rites.
