MRS. JOHN KALTINGER


Greenwood--Rites for Mrs. John Kaltinger Sr., 89, of Greenwood, Clark County, were conducted at 9:3- a.m. today (Monday) at the Hill Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood. Mrs. Kaltinger died at 10:20 a.m. Friday at the Neillsville Memorial Home, where she had been residing for about a week. She had been hospitalized at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield following a stroke.


The Rev. Leander A. Koopman, pastor, officiated at today's rites, and interment was made in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery at Willard.


Pallbearers, all grandsons, were Gilbert and James Fleischaker, Dennis Mikottis, Steve Sohlberg, Rudy Kaltinger Jr., and Billy Langner.


The former Mary Chadez was born Jan. 21, 1885, in Yugoslavia and came to the United States to settle at Salt Lake City, Utah, in 1905. She was married there on Oct. 11 of that year to John Kaltinger, who preceded her in death April 9, 1963.


The couple observed the golden anniversary of their marriage in 1955.


After their marriage they lived in Salt Lake City until 1914, when they came to Wisconsin and settled on a farm near Willard. They retired in 1963 and moved to the city of Greenwood.
She was a member of the S.N.P.T. Lodge (Slovanian National Benefit Society) at Willard.


Survivors include four sons, John Jr., Greenwood, Rudolph, Lombard Ill., Alfred, Elmhurst, Ill., and Alvin, Willard five daughters, Mrs. Mike (Marie) Fleischaker and (The rest of my copy was cut off)

Survivors include four sons, John Jr., Greenwood, Rudolph, Lombard Ill., Alfred, Elmhurst, Ill., and Alvin, Willard five daughters, Mrs. Mike (Marie) Fleischaker and (The rest of my copy was cut off)  Mrs Adolph (Ella) Langner, Mrs. Stanley (Josephine) Mikottis (my mother), Mrs Joseph (Louise) Morgal and Mrs Burt (Lillian) Solberg.  Josephine is presently the only survivor.  J.
