TIMOTHY STEINMETZ


Timothy Steinmetz, 34, Greenwood, Clark County, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1992, in the town of Thorp, Clark County. Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 4, 1992, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Father Jeremiah Cashman officiated and burial was in Holy Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were his six brothers, Jeffrey, Randy, Todd, Robin, David and Dean Steinmetz.


Timothy Steinmetz was born Mar. 28, 1957, in Chippewa Falls, to Henry and Rosemary (nee Chmelik) Steinmetz. He grew up in the Stanley area and attended area schools, graduating from Stanley-Boyd High School in 1976. He lived in Wausau for one year. He returned to Stanley and has worked at LaGrander's Cheese Factory for 14 years. On July 28, 1990, he married Linda Bell at St. John's Lutheran Church, Neillsville. They have lived in Greenwood since.


Survivors include his wife his parents, Henry and Rosemary Steinmetz, Stanley; six brothers, Jeffrey Steinmetz, Lufkin, Texas; Randy (Cindy) Steinmetz, Eau Claire; Todd (Jane) Steinmetz, Throp; Robin Steinmetz, Stanley; David Steinmetz, Eau Claire; Dean Steinmetz, Stanley; and two sisters, Michele Steinmetz, Vail, Colo.; and Lisa Steinmetz, Stanley.


He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
