Putman, Dorothy Fern (1907 - 1966)


GREENWOOD--Services were conducted Monday at Asbury Methodist Church in Janesville for Mrs. Ivan Putman, 58, a former Greenwood, Clark county resident, who died of a heart attack March 3, 1966 in the Rock Haven Rest Home in Janesville, where she had resided the past year. Burial was made in the Milton Lawn Cemetery at Janesville.


The former Dorothy Fern Johnson was born Mach 30, 1907, in Osseo. Her marriage to Ivan Putman, who preceded her in death in 1961, took place in 1926, at Greenwood. After their marriage, they went to Janesville.


Survivors are a son, Merlyn Putman, Racine; two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Lorraine) Hanson and Mrs. Robert (Jeanette) Radke, Edgerton; two sisters, Mrs. Vesta Erickson, Greenwood; and Mrs. Herbert Phillips, Janesville; and seven grandchildren.


Two brother preceded her in death.
