Minsaas, Mable Augusta (1910 - 1965)


GREENWOOD--Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Methodist Church in Fairchild for Mrs. Julius Minsaas, 55, route 1, Willard, Clark County, who was fatally injured shortly after 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 1965, when the car which she was driving overturned in a field about 11 miles northwest of Greenwood in Mead township.


The Rev. Ralph Walker will officiate, and burial will be made in the Fairchild Cemetery.


The body will repose at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood until 11 a.m. Friday, and then at the church.


The former Mable Augusta Smith was born Feb. 15, 1910, at Fairchild, and resided there until her marriage to Julius Minsaas. Since then the couple had made their home in the Greenwood area.


In addition to her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Herman Smith, Fairchild and Carl Smith, Neillsville and two sisters, Mrs. Phillip (Alice) Livermore, Merrill and Mrs. George (Cecelia) Garkowski, Fairchild.


She was preceded in death by a sister.
