GREENWOOD--Malro Alf (Rex) Minsaas, 66, Greenwood, Clark County, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 1964, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Military rites will be conducted there by Wallis-Hinker Legion Post. The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold will officiate and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
The body is reposing at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood until 11 a.m. Tuesday, and then at the church.
Malro Alf Minsaas was born March 5, 1898, in Eau Claire. His marriage to Mary Noah took place Jan. 28, 1961, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Mr. Minsaas had been employed as a farm laborer at the James Wangen farm near Loyal for more than 15 years. He retired in May of this year and moved to Greenwood.
He was a member of the VFW of Neillsville.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael Allen, 3 two brothers, Julius Minsaas, Willard and Paul Minsaas, Greenwood and five sisters, Mrs. Frank (Ida) Tetzloff, La Crosse Mrs. Palmer (Enga) Nelson, Canton, S.D. Mrs. Clarence (Agnes) Henschen, Loyal Mrs. Mattie Hanson, Neillsville and Mrs. Laura Adams, Morehead, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
