Cronin, William H. (1902 - 1963)


GREENWOOD--William Henry Cronin, 60, of Glen Dive, Mont., former resident of Greenwood, Clark County, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at the home of his sister, Mrs. Owen William in Glen Dive.


Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hill Funeral Home here. The Rev. Orval Egbert, pastor of the Zion United Church of Christ will officiate and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hill Funeral Home beginning Wednesday afternoon until time of services.


William Cronin was born Nov. 26, 1902 in the Town of Warner. He received his education in the Greenwood schools, and was a cheesemaker and did farm work in this area until four years ago, when he moved to Glen Dive, where he was employed on the ranch of his brother-in-law and sister. He never married.


He is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Owen (Margaret) Williams, Glen Dive, Mont. Mrs. Henry (Esther) Goettsch, Mrs. Gertrude McCann, Mrs. Martin (Rosella) Zickert, Mrs. Phillip (Anna) Vollrath, Greenwood two brothers, Floyd, Rockford, Ill., and James, Rock Falls, Ill.


He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
