Celesnik, John A. (1903 - 1959)


GREENWOOD--Funeral services will be held in the Hill Funeral Home here at 2 p.m. Thursday for John Anton Celesnik, 56, Willard, Clark County, who died at a hospital in Rochester, Minn., Sunday, July 5, 1959, where he had been a patient 10 days. The Rev. Aloysius Madic, pastor of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard, will officiate and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


The body will lie instate at the Hill Funeral Home beginning Wednesday afternoon.


Mr. Celesnik was born May 25, 1903 in Yugoslavia. He came to Willard as a small child with his parents and received his education there. He had farmed in the Willard area since 1930.
On Nov. 2, 1940, he was married at Neillsville to the former Albena Gabrozic, who survives him.


Other survivors are two daughters, Gloria and Marian, at home two brothers, Peter, Cadott Anton, Milwaukee five sister Mrs. Vandy (Mary) Suda, Mrs. Vernon (Anne) Bastell, Mrs. Joseph ..(The rest of my copy was cut off)
