GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY Mrs. Anne Dyre, 88, a lifelong resident of Greenwood, died at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 21, 1961, at the Clark County Hospital in Owen.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiating. Burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


The body will repose at the Hill Funeral Home until 11 a.m. Saturday, when it will be taken to the church.


The former Anne Eliza Peterson was born May 26, 1873 in Greenwood. She was married here on Dec. 3, 1893 to John Dyre, who died in 1917. After their marriage, the couple lived on a farm northeast of Greenwood. Mrs. Dyre was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women s Group.


She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Chris (Julia) Olsen, Loyal, and Mrs. Martin (Hilda) Quast, West Allis a son, Godfrey, Greenwood 18 grandchildren 20 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ingebor Hogue, Greenwood.


Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three sons, three sisters and a brother.
