Oleson, Willard Chris (1915 - 1953)
 

GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY Funeral services for Willard Chris Oleson, 37, Owen, who died March 26, 1953, at his home, were held at 2 p.m. Monday in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. The Rev. M.S. Egge officiated and burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Mr. Oleson was born April 19, 1915, in Taylor County and received his education in Jump River and Hannibal. He was married to Pearl Beebe Dec. 15, 1934, in Richland County. He farmed for many years, except for six years when he worked as a machinist at Waukesha from 1940 - 1946.


Survivors include his wife two children, Robert and Joy Ann, at home his father, Chris Oleson, Stanley five brothers, Delbert, Herbert, and Harley, Waukesha George, Sullivan and Dallas, Redding, Calif. and six sisters, Ethel and Alma, Waukesha Ida and Alfa, Jump River Eva, Wales and Ada, Manteca, Calif.
