Koepp, Veda (1899 - 1967)


GREENWOOD, CLARK COUNTY Mrs. Arthur Koepp, 68, Greenwood, died unexpectedly Thursday, Dec. 28, 1967 in Alamo, Texas, where she and her husband were spending the winter months.


Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. David Logue, pastor of Zion-Immanuel United Church of Christ, will officiate, and burial will be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.


The body will repose at the funeral home from Sunday afternoon until the time of services.


The former Veda Howard was born Sept. 27, 1899, at Richland Center, and was a graduate of the Richland Center High School and Stevens Point University.


She had taught school in Richland and Clark Counties, and for several years prior to her retirement in 1961, had taught at Minocqua. In 1950, she came to Greenwood and in addition to her teaching duties, had managed the Howard Hotel.


After her marriage to Dr. Arthur Koepp in June 1961 they had made their home at Lake Mead during the summer months and resided in Texas during the winter months.


Mrs. Koepp was a member of the Grace Methodist church at Greenwood, and the Order of the Eastern Star.


In addition to her husband, survivors are a twin sister, Mrs. Otto (Frieda) Seybold, friendship and a brother, Claude Howard, New Richmond.
