MERLE LLEWELLYN


Merle Llewellyn, 75, of Withee, Clark County, passed away at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 5, 1978, at Neillsville Hospital, where she had been admitted the previous day.


Services for Mrs. Llewellyn were conducted at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 8. Jerome Berger of Jehovah's Witnesses of Neillsville was the speaker and burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.


Merle Llewellyn was born on Sept. 13, 1902 at Picwick, Minn. To Benjamin and Mary (Holcumb) Seals. She received her education at La Crosse.


She was married to Cyrill Llewellyn on April 18, 1944, in Milwaukee. She was a nurse at the Southern Colony at Union Grove for many years and since 1973 she has been living in Withee, Clark County. She was also a resident of the Rock Dam area for 18 years.
Mrs. Hazel Harmening, her aunt from Willard, survives her.


She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cyrill on Feb. 22, 1970 and one brother.


Pallbearers were Randall Ryll, Ervin Robertson, Alfred Molle, Ralph Kramer, Bill Cammers and Keith Noah. Miss GiGi Plautz was the organist and Mrs. Duane Olson the soloist.


Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.
