FRANK ARCH, GREENWOOD, DIES SUDDENLY
 

Frank A. Arch, 66, of Greenwood, Clark County, died at his home Thursday noon, July 17, 1975 of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Robert B. Houston, pastor, officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery.


Hill Funeral Home had charge of funeral arrangements.


Mr. Arch was born June 24, 1909 in Chicago and came to Greenwood with his parents in 1917. He attended schools in Chicago and Greenwood. He married the former Rose Jordon on Jan. 13, 1940, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenwood. She survives.
After their marriage, they moved to West Allis, where he was employed for four years at Motor Casting. In 1945, they moved to a farm one mile west of Greenwood. He worked for the County Highway Department until retiring in 1969, and then moved to the City of Greenwood.


Frank was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the KSKJ Society of Willard.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Frank Jr., Greenwood; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Jo Ann) Wroblewski, Waterford; a brother, Ernest, Greenwood; three sisters, Miss Betty Arch, Milwaukee; Mrs. Ralph (Julia) Kaczmarek, Lakewood, Colo.; and Mrs. Austin (Angela) McHale, Springfield, Va.; and seven grandchildren.


Three brothers preceded him in death.

Arch, Frank A. (24 June 1909 – 17 July 1975)

Frank A. Arch, 68, of Greenwood, died at his home at noon last Thursday, of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Arch, son of Louis and Elizabeth (Vodopebec) Arch was born June 24, 1909, in Chicago. He came to Greenwood with his parents in 1917. He attended the Chicago and Greenwood schools.

He was married January 13, 1940, to Rose Jordon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenwood. After their marriage they moved to West Allis, where he was employed four years at Motor Casting. In 1945 they moved onto a farm one mile west of Greenwood and worked for the Clark County Highway Dept.

In 1969 he retired, and they moved to the city of Greenwood.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Church and the K.S.K.J. Society of Willard.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Frank, Jr. of Greenwood; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (JoAnn) Wroblewski of Waterford; seven grandchildren; a brother, Ernest Arch of Greenwood; three sisters, Miss Betty Arch of Milwaukee, Mrs. Ralph (Julia) Kaczmorek of Lakewood, Co.; and Mrs. Austin( Angela) McHale of Springfield, Va.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Houston officiated
