CLARA LINDNER SERVICES HELD AT LOYAL
 

Mrs. Clara Lindner, 85, of 117 Thomas St., Loyal, Clark County, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 1975, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.


Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with burial in the Loyal Cemetery. The Rev. Wm. Humlie officiated.


Mrs. Verland Dux and Mrs. Erwin Dux sang, The Lord is My Shepherd and Sweetly Resting , with Ronal Gluch as organist.


Pallbearers were Jerry Noeldner, Kenneth Voss, Richard Noeldner, James and David Helms, and Gath Le Rene.


The former Clara Scheaffner was born June 30, 1890 in the Town of Loyal and received her education in the Town of Loyal schools. She was married on Oct. 7, 1914 at Loyal to John Lindner, who preceded her in death on May 1, 1967. They farmed in the Town of Loyal until 1957, when they moved to the city of Loyal. They operated a root beer stand at Owen for 13 years, retiring in 1970.


She is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, and was a life-long member of the T. L. C. W.


She is survived by one son, Wilbur, Loyal; two daughters, Mrs. Everett (Dorothy) Helms, Marshfield; and Mrs. Ervin (Ruth) Noeldner, Route 2, Loyal; 9 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. John Young, Florida.


In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.


The Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
