Mrotek, David Michael (1949 - 2001)

David Michael Mrotek, 52, Toledo, Ohio, died on Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Riverside Hospital, Toledo. A memorial service was held at 3 p.m., on Sunday, July 22, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Marshfield. The Rev. Daniel E. Zimmerman of Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, officiated.

David Michael Mrotek was born on Feb. 3, 1949, in Marshfield, to Roman and Lavonne (nee Beer) Mrotek. He was a 1967 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. He married Susan Schultz and they later divorced. He married Mary Weiler on May 13, 1995, in Toledo. He was a truck driver for 16 years with Northern Steel in Toledo, until retiring in 2000 due to health reasons.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Mrotek, Toledo, Ohio two daughters, Elizabeth Mrotek, Curtiss, and Heather Mrotek, Wausau two grandchildren, Yukon and Torrie Mrotek, Curtiss his mother, Lavonne Mrotek, Marshfield three brothers, James (Karen) Mrotek, Nashville, Tenn., Gerald (Betty) Mrotek, Loyal, and Daniel (Ginger) Mrotek, Marshfield nieces and nephews four step-children 13 step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roman Mrotek.
