STEPHEN FITCH
Mr. Stephen Fitch
died Feb. 15, 1885, aged 61 years, 11 months and 12 days. He has
long been known among the children as Uncle Steve . He always had a
cheerful greeting for them and they know who is friendly, generous
and kind.
Transcriber's Note: Stephen Finch was born in Canada, as was his wife, Elizabeth and both of his parents. Elizabeth's father was born in Nova Scotia and her mother was born in New York. Like her husband, Elizabeth was also born in 1823. Stephen worked as a teamster and lived in Eaton Township, Clark Co., WI.
