Zagozen, Angela (1907 - 1981)


Mrs. John (Angela) Zagozen, Sr., 74, of 308 W. Schofield Av., Greenwood, Clark County, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1981, at her home of an apparent heart attack.


Services were conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 9, by Rev. Michael Mertens at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood. Burial was in the Willard Cemetery, with Albert Trost, John Snedic, Albert Musich, Dick Syth, Frank Petkovsek and John Kaltinger serving as pallbearers. Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.


Angela Luzovec was born in Ely, Minn. on May 20, 1907, to John and Frances (nee Owen) Luzovec. She attended North Hendren School.
She was married to John Zagozen, Sr., on Dec. 31, 1942, at Neillsville.


After their marriage, they lived in Willard until 1949, when they moved to Greenwood.


She is survived by her husband, John one son, John, Jr. of Greenwood; one daughter, Miss Judy Zagozen of Philadelphia; two brothers, John Luzovec of Willard; and Frank of Willard; two sisters, Mrs. Peter (Sophia) Rodak of Chicago, Ill.,; and Mrs. Louie (Mary) Novak of Owen; and three grandchildren.


Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother.
