Oelrich, Alvina (1887 - 1982)


Mrs. Alvina Oelrich, 94, formerly of Spencer, who has been residing at Continental Manor Nursing Home, Abbotsford, died at the home on Tuesday, May 25, 1982.

Rev. William Ruhbusch officiated at funeral services at St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery, North Spencer. Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, was in charge of arrangements.

Alvina Luepke was born to Carl and Wilhelmina (nee Mellenthin) Luepke on Dec. 9, 1887, in the Town of Unity, Clark County.

She was married to Charles Oelrich on Sept. 15, 1904, at St. John's Lutheran Church. They farmed in the Town of Brighton.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.

Survivors include six children, Verner Oelrich of Florida, Arnold Oelrich of Spencer, Mrs. Arivlla Neumann of Spencer, Mrs. Hilda Seefeldt of Marshfield, Mrs. Dora Huber of Spencer and Mrs. Lucille Slenicki of Indiana 32 grandchildren 54 great-grandchildren two great-great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Ella Cramer of Colby.

Preceding her in death were her husband one son one daughter seven sister five brothers and her parents.
